Jamie Daves is the Founder and Managing Partner of Everyone, Inc. a holding company that creates and invests in companies that leverage technology and regenerative economic strategies to advance health, learning and economic opportunity. Recent work has focused on the challenges facing caregivers and parents, and the development of new services for brain health and performance.

In the past, he co-founded the pioneering global television company Current TV with Vice President Al Gore; worked in venture capital at City Light Capital and Platform Equity where he focused on Seed and Series A investments in the media and education markets including in the now public learning company 2U; and served as President and Board Member of RedPill VR, a virtual reality platform that uses artificial intelligence to create music-based, audio-reactive visual environments and virtual worlds

He has a deep background in the transformation of journalism and digital media, helping to launch ventures such as The Wrap and ImpactAlpha and advising the CEO of National Public Radio. Jamie has been active in the public and social sectors including serving as a Special Assistant to Chairman William Kennard of the Federal Communications Commission, teaching as an adjunct instructor at The New School, co-founding the Bay Area venture philanthropy organization Full Circle Fund and working on campaigns including Clinton/Gore 1992.

Jamie serves on the Boards of a number of nonprofits including: The Neurorights Foundation led the Dr. Rafael Yuste of Columbia University; the World Liberty Congress led internationally acclaimed democracy leaders Leopoldo Lopez, Masih Alenijad, and Gary Kasparov; and the Center for New Data, a non-profit making information available to researchers, journalists and policymakers to support public health, democracy and other areas essential to the common good.

Jamie has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a frequent speaker and interviewer of public figures, and has appeared in media such as The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC and Newsweek. His recent work has been featured in the Washington Post, Fast Company and the film “Theater of Thought” by director Werner Herzog.
