Sarah Evans

Sarah Evans is the founder of the UK-based Oxford Youth Lab, Westside School, and co-founder of the Association of Alternate Educational Provision. Sarah sits on the Canadian Advisory Boards of the MaRS Solution Lab, the Ivey Sustainability Centre, and the Ivey Business School. Sarah also sits on the UK Boards of the Sadler’s Wells Theatre, the Westside Educational Trust (Chair), and various other philanthropic trusts and foundations between Canada and the UK. Sarah previously worked for MGL/JP Morgan, Bain & Co, and OPUS Consulting, focused on Change Management, in Hong Kong and the UK.

Sarah resonates with the need for a more grass roots understanding of our complex economic and social issues. She is a believer in the Social Lab Approach, defining core problems, iterating solutions, and experimenting with experts across sectors in real time.

In collaboration with the Canadian Memorial Foundation, Sarah is helping to develop a scholarship program for Canadian students with relevant work experience to attend top UK universities for graduate training in economics or public policy.

Sarah earned an HBA with Honours in Economics from Ivey Business School as well as a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University. She also completed a one-year graduate course in Psychology from the University of Hong Kong.
